River City Days (Maui Wowi)
This is Chaska's annual summer community celebration of life on the Minnesota River. The weekend provides great exposure for our club by supporting our community. Skaters will run the Maui Wowi booth and the club receives 20% of the profit plus tips. This has been an extremely popular event among our skaters.

Garage Sale
Every year in September, the Swanson family hosts our annual garage sale. This is a great way to de-clutter your home of stuff you no longer need. 80% of proceeds from the sale will go to you and the club earns 20%. Bring your items for sale to Barb's house any time one week before the sale. You may also bring them anytime during the sale. Items should be clearly marked with both the price and your initials or last name. Also bring any tables you may have, as well as bags. Any questions, call Barb or Erin at 952-448-6374.

Skate-A-Thon
Come to the rink for a fun club social. Every Skate Club member will enjoy 2 hours of free skating (7:30 - 9:30pm), a slice of pizza with beverage and a goodie bag. Additional concessions will be available for purchase. Skaters are encouraged to obtain sponsors. They will receive 1 raffle ticket per each $20 sponsorship which will enter them in prize drawings. Your family will also be entered in the drawing for the quarterly $50 mandatory fundraising fee credit for every $20 of sponsorship money. GOOD LUCK and ENJOY!

Holasek Holiday Sale
Holasek Holiday order forms are due on Thursday, November 20th and delivery of poinsettias and spruce tops will be the first week of December. Gift certificates are good through the spring, so they could be given as Christmas gifts. The club gets 30% of all sales - including gift certificates!

2010 Skate Show
The skate show is our biggest fundraising event during the year. Its success is largely tied to the number of skaters performing in the show. The community center retains the money collected from skaters to perform in the show, but the club benefits from other show related activities such as: Sales from tickets, programs, flowers, concessions, DVDs, pictures, T-shirts, program advertisements and personal messages to skaters that are placed in the program. Many volunteers are needed to produce this fun event and all are welcome!

Holasek Spring Sale
Buy for yourself and/or sell gift certificates for spring plantings such as vegetable and herb plants, flowering annuals and perennials. The club gets 30% of all gift certificate sales!

Applebees DINING TO DONATE
Dine at Chanhassen Applebee’s on Wednesdays during June 2010 and 10% of your dining bill will go to the club! See the "cart" in the coaches room for copies of an ad which has to accompany your order WHEN it is placed for their donation to apply. Please pass the ads out at local businesses, in your neighbors doors, to your friends, mailboxes at work, etc. Wherever you can think to get the word out! Thank you! Call Melanie Graham for more information 952-442-1024.

Ink cartridge & cell phone collection
Earn cash for collecting used inkjet & laser printer cartridges and cell phones. Recycle Rewards pays the club for every recycled item that we send them through their “Cash for Trash…Year Round Rewards” program. There is a collection box in the coach’s room. For a complete product listing visit http://rrewards.com/qualifying_items.aspx This program is good for the environment and our budget!

Skating Challenge
The Skating Challenge is updated quarterly. For fall quarter 2009, our sponsor covered the membership fee for any new skater that enrolled as a Jr. Club member and also covered the ice costs for Saturday ice so we could offer the developmental program. For Winter quarter they are subsidizing the extra Tuesday session for skaters to practice their ice show routine. Check back regularly to find out more about future challenges.

Rock On Ice
Looking for a fun night out with friends or family? Look no more. Every year the club hosts 5 Rock on Ice theme parties. Enjoy door prizes, music & disco ball lighting while you skate. Concessions and pizza available. Check the club calendar for these upcoming events: Valentines Day - Summer Beach Party - Back to School - Halloween Costume - Party - Rock with Santa
